Protesters were on hand to mark the 25th anniversary of the resumption of the death penalty near the Florida State Prison on Tuesday.

The scheduled execution at the prison for John Blackwelder was postponed until
6 p.m. tonight as officials check into a claim that he lied about killing a fellow inmate.
