FLORIDA MORATORIUM TOUR SWINGS THROUGH SOUTH FLORIDA

Murder Victim's Families Call For Healing, Not Vengeance

Floridians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty presents the Florida Moratorium Tour.  Featured speakers include:

  • Bud Welch, whose daughter was one of the 168 people killed in the Oklahoma City bombing*.
  • SueZann Bosler*, whose father was murdered and who was herself stabbed and left for dead.
  • Bill Pelke, whose grandmother was murdered.
  • George White, who was wrongly convicted and imprisoned in the murder of his wife, in the Florida Moratorium Tour. 

These courageous individuals will share their stories of moving from fury to forgiveness as part of an awareness-raising tour highlighting concerns and questions about Florida's death penalty system.   For a complete list of participants, biographical statements, and more, please visit www.FADP.org.

The Florida Moratorium Tour began in Pensacola on April 6 and has visited Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Gainesville, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Orlando and Melbourne.  This week the tour will visit Miami, Palm Beach County and will end in Ft.
