Learn About the Florida Death Penalty from the Experts. Barry University Department of Sociology and Criminology is hosting the “Make Justice Work” Death Penalty Speaking Tour. The community is encouraged to come educate themselves on this social issue from the experts. Speakers Include:

Dale Recinella, JD, MTS – International speaker, Catholic Correctional Chaplain for Florida’s Death Row, Author of The Biblical Truth about America’s Death Penalty and Now I Walk on Death Row

George Kain, PhD – International speaker, Associate Professor, Western Connecticut State University, Division of Justice & Law Administration, Corrections and Offender Rehabilitation Concentration Coordinator, Director of Training, Police Commissioners Association of Connecticut

Ingrid Delgado – Associate for Social Concerns & Respect Life at the Florida Conference of Catholic Bishops, representing the Catholic Bishops of Florida on issues of human life, dignity, and social justice before the legislative and executive branches of government and community organizations.

Carlo Santoro – The Community of Sant’Egidio, International Campaign for Global Abolition of the Death Penalty

Mark Elliott – Executive Director, Floridians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty
