Tallahassee Citizens Against the Death Penalty is co-sponsoring a presentation by Seth Miller, Executive Director of the Innocence Project of Florida. The talk will take place in one week on Sunday, September 18 from 3 pm to 5 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 2138 N. Meridian Road. The talk is co-sponsored by TCADP, the Center for Inquiry-Tallahassee, and the Freethinkers’ Forum.

Florida leads the nation with 26 death row exonerations. In addition, nearly 60 individuals in Florida have been proven innocent and exonerated. Innocence through DNA testing has undoubtedly helped change a lot of minds about the finality of death penalty. You can’t free an innocent person who has been executed.

Hear Seth Miller talk about the work of the Innocence Project and the lives of those who have been exonerated. A pot luck dinner will follow the talk. All are invited.
