Starke (Florida State Prison)
Gather across from Florida State Prison starting by 5pm. As Amos King is a Buddhist, readings from Thich Nhat Hanh and the Dalai Lama will be read (copies will be available).
Please bring signs, candles, flash lights and stronger beacon lights that can be flashed toward the prison windows, so the inmates can know we are out there shedding light on the situation.
We have checked with prison officials and they said that noise is fine as long as we don’t do anything to inflame or cause problems to the pro-deathpenalty protesters, if there are any. Accordingly, people are asked to bring drums and gongs and voices, too.
