Join Amnesty International Group 519 for their monthly meeting to discuss death penalty abolition in Florida. Featuring Kristina Roth, Senior Advocate for the Criminal Justice Program at AIUSA, along with Mark Elliott and Celeste Fitzgerald with Floridians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty to discuss ending the death penalty in Florida.


ARC, Inc.’s annual Together Towards Justice virtual event, October 12, at 7:00 pm. 
This year, ARC, Inc. is privileged to be joined by renowned attorney Stephen Bright; and artist, activist, author, Halim Flowers to share his experiences as a formerly incarcerated youth and ARC, Inc. client who came home in 2018.
ARC, Inc. celebrates and honors the work of mitigation through this event, and we hope you will be a part of joining in that celebration. Tickets can be purchased here. If you cannot join us live, by purchasing a ticket you will have access to the recording which you can view at a later time.

The Death Penalty in Florida: The Case Against Death, October 15, 2021, 9:00am to 3:00pm
This one-day virtual event aims to educate attendees about the concerns with the death penalty in Florida and beyond. Sponsored by Nova Southeastern University’s Lifelong Learning Institute, Law School and Barry University’s Department of Sociology & Criminology, It will feature state and national leaders addressing legal issues, racial bias, innocence, faith and family perspectives, executions of the severely mentally ill, and more. Sign up here!
