We, the People: A Record of Florida’s Death Penalty in 2025

December 31, 2025 by FADP

This year, Florida executed 19 people — more than at any point in modern history.

We’ve documented what happened, how it happened, and why it matters in our newly released year-end report: We, the People: A Record of Florida’s Death Penalty in 2025.

This report is our public record of a system driven by speed, politics, and indifference to human life — and of the people, families, lawyers, faith leaders, and communities who showed up anyway.

Please take a few minutes to read it.

If you’re able, we also ask you to make a year-end gift. Your support sustains this work — the vigils, the legal coordination, the family support, the documentation, and the refusal to let executions happen quietly.

Read the report.
Share it.
And if you can, donate to help carry this work into the year ahead.

Onward,
The FADP Team
