Justice Breyer Again Presses Case Against Death Penalty

Monday, the U.S. Supreme Court denied the appeal of Henry Sireci who has spent more than 40 years on Florida’s Death Row. In his dissent, Justice Stephen Breyer wrote, “…the time has come for this Court to reconsider the constitutionality of the death penalty.” He touched on a litany of the failures of the death penalty.
