New Florida Exoneration and DPIC Report on Race

September 15, 2020 by Mark Elliott

DPIC Report on Race Just Released. The Death Penalty Information Center has released its much anticipated report, Enduring Injustice: The Persistence of Racial Discrimination in the U.S. Death Penalty.

See FADP’s Press Statement

Read the DPIC report.

30th Florida Death Row Exoneration is Official. Robert DuBoise is now the 30th exonerated Florida Death Row survivor and #172 nationally since 1973. Florida has executed 99 people on Death Row during that period, or one exoneration for every 3.3 executions. Judge Christopher Nash vacated Mr. DuBoise’s convictions in relation to a 1983 murder and attempted sexual battery. Mr. DuBoise was provisionally released on August 27, 2020, after 37 years of wrongful incarceration on Florida’s Death Row and prison, after new DNA test results demonstrated his innocence.

Onward Together,
Mark
