ACTION!!! Stay of Execution Ends Dec. 30!

December 29, 2019 by Mark Elliott

NEW EVIDENCE OF INNOCENCE. New signed confession by co-defendant Jack Pearcy could clear Dailey: “James Dailey had nothing to do with the murder of Shelly Boggio,” the document reads. “I committed the crime alone…”

Please contact Gov. Ron DeSantis: Email: ron.desantis@eog.myflorida.com. Call: 850-488-7146 (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm ET). Urge him to schedule a Clemency Hearing for James Dailey, rather than reschedule his execution, so ALL the evidence can be reviewed, including NEW evidence of innocence. It is never too late to review a condemned man’s case for innocence. The Stay of Execution ends Dec. 30 and a new execution date could be set.

No physical evidence or eyewitness testimony linked Dailey to the murder. His conviction was based primarily on the hearsay testimony of jailhouse informants.

Attorney for James Dailey:
“We are pleading with Gov. DeSantis to give James Dailey a clemency hearing and are hopeful that he will indeed give us that forum so that all of the facts surrounding the unreliability of Mr. Dailey’s conviction will be brought to light,”
—Josh Dubin, attorney for James Dailey.

Your help is needed for the work to be done. Please support Florida Death Penalty abolition action campaigns to end the use of the Death Penalty.
