The Florida Moratorium Walk for a Time-Out on Executions was completed on January 31, 2002, with the delivery of more than 20,000 petitions to the office of Florida Governor Jeb! Bush. On the left, the walkers fill the hallway leading to the office of the Governor. On the right, exonerated Florida death row survivors (L to R) David Keaton, Brad Scott and Delbert Tibbs deliver the petitions. For a full report, click here!

“In the last 40 years, I have participated either as a prosecutor, as a defense attorney or a trial judge or as an appellate judge on the Supreme Court in the disposition of more than 1200 capital cases. I don’t know of anyone else in the State of Florida who has that kind of experience or, for that matter, that kind varying type of experience.
