Darryl Barwick Execution

Governor DeSantis has signed a death warrant for Darryl Barwick and set an execution date for May 3, 2023 at 6 p.m. This is the third warrant signed by Governor DeSantis this year, and will be Florida’s 102nd execution if it proceeds.

As always, we will work together, and we will keep in our minds and hearts: Mr. Barwick, his legal team, the families of his victims, and all of those in the criminal justice system and the corrections personnel who will have to participate in the process of systematically killing a human being.
