Florida – November 30, 2017: Throughout our state, concerned Floridians gathered together at nine prominent, illuminated monuments and churches to participate in the Worldwide “Cities for Life – Cities Against the Death Penalty” Day. On November 30, more than 2,000 cities around the world have celebrated with illuminated actions calling for an end to the Death Penalty. This is the third year that Florida has joined. Thank you everyone who participated. Anytime you would like to organize a death penalty awareness and education event, please contact FADP for help arranging speakers, materials and promotions. We will help. For a Florida Death Penalty Factsheet, please click here. For November 30 info, please visit the FADP Cities for Life page.
