Florida Death Penalty “Fix” Moving Through Legislature

Legislation to “fix” Florida’s unconstitutional death penalty sentencing scheme and restart use of the death penalty is moving through the Florida Legislature and is expected to be voted on in the next few weeks. Some legislators are saying that they will not vote for it without a comprehensive study of the the entire Florida Death Penalty program. Concerned citizens and groups testified in committees for the need for such a study. Read more here.
