Florida Supreme Court hears arguments for commuting all Florida death sentences.

The Florida Supreme Court heard oral arguments Thursday, May 5th on the Hurst case to decide how recent U.S. Supreme Court rulings highlighting the unconstitutionality of Florida’s death penalty statute, affect not only Hurst, but perhaps all of the 390 people awaiting execution on Florida’s Death Row. A ruling is expected in the next several months. Read more here.
