Floridians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty (FADP)
Floridians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty works for restorative justice in the form of effective alternatives to the death penalty. It does so by:
- supporting and coordinating the work of organizations and individuals
- educating and energizing the general public and state legislators
- supporting the many persons affected by capital crime and punishment
- advocating specific legislative improvements
FADP provides an easy to use and information packed Web site. Click on any of the links below to learn more about what we have to offer.

Judge Kogan’s Speech 10/23/99
“In the last 40 years, I have participated either as a prosecutor, as a defense attorney or a trial judge or as an appellate judge on the Supreme Court in the disposition of more than 1200 capital cases. I don’t know of anyone else in the State of Florida who has that kind of experience or, for that matter, that kind varying type of experience. So, when I speak to you, I speak to you based upon what, I hope, has been those things I have learned in the last 40 years.” Click Here
