Mark Asay Executed

August 27, 2017 by Mark Elliott

By order of Gov. Rick Scott, the “People of the State of Florida” executed Mark Asay Thursday, August 24 at 6pm. Concerned Floridians held 30 vigils and protests throughout Florida to protest executions and remember murder victims. For a news report, please click here.

Polls now show that by a 2-1 margin, Florida voters prefer a sentence of Life in Prison with No Parole over Execution for those convicted of murder. However, officials do not get this message unless they hear directly from those who oppose executions. Historically, those who clamor for death have been the loudest voices. Please make your voice heard by contacting Governor Scott’s office today.
