Sept. 21: Georgia Executed Troy Davis 3 Years Ago

September 21, 2011 Georgia executed Troy Davis despite overwhelming evidence of innocence and almost a million people asking that his life be spared. Laura Finley writes:

To have a system of justice that is so unjust as to kill those who may have been innocent is a tremendous blight on the freedoms and liberties we allegedly stand for.
