Tomorrow at 6 pm, the State of Florida plans to execute Loran Cole. There is still time to fight this execution, but we can’t do it without you.
Send a message to Governor DeSantis and tell him to stay Cole’s execution
Governor DeSantis is the single executive official who can stop this execution. That’s why on Monday, August 26, FADP went to the Florida Capitol to deliver the signatures of thousands of people from across Florida to Governor DeSantis and the Florida Board of Executive Clemency.
If you did not sign before Monday, it’s not too late. We’re continuing to amplify your voices by emailing the totality of the petitions and letters directly to the governor and the Florida Board of Executive Clemency tomorrow. Every signature, every voice, will be seen and heard, reinforcing our collective call for justice.
Today and tomorrow, people will begin gathering around the state and around the world calling to stop Cole’s execution and for an end to all executions. Join us at one of the nearly 20 vigils across the state of Florida or online with Death Penalty Action.
Stay with us, stand with us, and say: Not in Our Name.
