Take Action! Federal Execution Today

August 28, 2020 by Mark Elliott

Keith Nelson is to be executed today – Friday, August 28 at 4:00 pm EDT. Help end Federal executions now.

Native American, Lezmond Mitchell, was executed this week by the U.S. Government. In horrific historical irony, officials of the U.S. Government executed a Native American for a crime on tribal land that involved only tribe members. A tribal agreement with the U.S. government prohibits the Death Penalty for murder. He was executed anyway. The record for most U.S. executions in a single day was the hanging of 38 Native Americans on December 26, 1862.

Executions scheduled:
Keith Nelson– Friday, August 28 4:00 pm ET
William LeCroy – September 22
Christopher Vialva – September 24
