WHAT HAPPENS WHEN TOMMY GETS OUT?

Tommy Zeigler will soon be freed. When that happens, the State of Florida will probably NOT apologize, and it will give him the same thing every prisoner leaving the Florida Department of Corrections receives: $100 and street clothes. It will take an Act of the State Legislature to compensate Tommy for his time. (See Below)

Tommy will need proper medical attention. He’s not complaining of any necessary ailment, but he’s been under the care of the Department of Corrections, which doesn’t waste a lot of effort on the condemned. In fact, there is a high incidence of cancer at Union Correctional Institution… Enough said.

Tommy will need everything a person needs to live. Clothes, food, housing, transportation, and help.

And soon, Tommy will be looking for places to share his story.

YOU CAN HELP!

Click Here to read about FADP’s EXONERATED PRISONER RELIEF FUND.

If you have professional services to offer Tommy or other death row survivors, please e-mail fadp@fadp.org with details and your contact information.

If you would like to invite Tommy to speak to your group, once he is ready, send a message to fadp@fadp.org with your name and contact information, and the type of venue you offer (school, club, faith community). When the time comes, we’ll be in touch.

HELP CHANGE THE LAW.
